Supervisor Position Available

Supervise, coordinate, schedule, and deliver commercial construction projects to the specialty retail market. Estimate project costs. Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and to plan procedures. Evaluate projects to determine compliance with technical specifications. Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met. Use Microsoft Project to track work progress, allocate resources and coordinate people. Use Microsoft Excel for strategic planning, cost estimates, work timetables, and create reports. Oversee purchasing. Perform framing, drywall, mill work, trim and carpentry. Manage various types of public, commercial, and residential high-end projects, and consult with the client during the design phase. Supervise 8 construction workers.

 

Special Requirements: Supervisor will visit various sites within Dallas, TX. General OSHA Overview Certification: Module 1: Introduction to OSHA and the OSH Act Module 2: General safety and Health Provisions Module 3A: Health Hazards: Hazard Communication Module 3B: Health Hazards: Hazardous Materials Module 4: Cranes and Rigging Module 5: Focus Four: Electrical Safety Module 6: Struck-By and Caught in Between Module 7: Fall Protection Module 8: Personal Protective Equipment Module 9: Hand and Power Tools Module 10: Scaffolds Module 11: Stairways and Ladders.
